A glimpse inside Cameron’s kitchen

Thanks to a charity breakfast that was held at No.10 Downing Street, members of the public were given a rare glimpse into the kitchen of the Prime Minister and his wife, Samantha Cameron.

The breakfast was hosted by Mrs Cameron for the benefit of disabled children. The PM’s wife served up a relaxed meal, which included crumpets and toast with a choice of butter, jam and marmite.

A number of children also attended the event, including Philip Kiley, who suffers from Down’s syndrome, and Stevie Tyrie, who has cerebral palsy. They all gathered around the Camerons’ expensive kitchen table.

Thanks to photos of the event, which were released to the media, it is now known that the PM’s kitchen includes everything from a stylish £1,615 lamp and a £60 clock from Habitat, to £8 barista-style mugs and a customised marble table, which cost in the region of £795.

The stylish kitchen was partially funded by an annual maintenance grant of £30,000, which is provided to the Premier and his family. However, the rest of the contents of the luxury kitchen were paid for by the Camerons themselves.

Some of the accessories that were spotted in the Camerons’ kitchen include a stack of Jamie Oliver saucepans, a range cooker, and a number of hand-drawn pictures. The kitchen was even fitted with some flat pack furniture.

These latest pictures are a boon for anyone who is looking to create their own custom kitchen design in Cheshire, as they can now take inspiration from Mr and Mrs Cameron.
