Nigella’s flush new kitchen

Nigella Lawson may have just downsized to a smaller home, but she has had a luxury new kitchen fitted to celebrate.

Following her divorce from art dealer Charles Saatchi, the celebrity chef decided to downsize, which meant that she has had to leave her trusty white kitchen, which has been the star of many of her TV cookery shows, behind.

However, her new home will not be bereft of a stylish cooking space, as Lawson has splashed out on fuchsia pink details, which would rival the best custom built kitchens that Cheshire has to offer.

The chef’s new kitchen is said to be bright and quirky, while fitted with fuchsia pink drawers and cabinets.

The previous kitchen at her new £5m West London home was lavender when she bought it, but Lawson decided to rip it out and install brand new pink units instead.

Lawson was obviously very proud of the units, sharing a picture of her new kitchen on Facebook with the caption:

“Two words: pink sink! Another happy-making one: mine!”

One kitchen expert has suggested that the cooking units are of an extremely high quality, which could have cost the kitchen professional as much as £100,000.

Another expert said that the pink units were a brave choice, being as they are very loud. This could result in any new owners wanting to rip out the pieces. However, if they chose to do so, it is likely that the bold designs could be sold on for as much as £30,000.
